VERONA, NJ — Verona residents have one more chance to make a splash.
The township will hold its "One More Splash" end-of-season pool party from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, September 13, at Verona Community Pool, 257 Fairview Avenue.
Current pool members can enter free with their tags. Verona residents who are not members can attend free by showing identification with a Verona address.
"As a thank you, we are adding an extra day of fun," township officials said in the announcement.
The pool party gives Verona neighbors one afternoon to swim together before the season ends.
Optional donations will be accepted for Verona's Children's Fund, which assists local children whose families are facing hardships connected to illness, unemployment, death or divorce.
