CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Cedar Grove residents can clear their closets and give unwanted belongings a new address during the township's town-wide garage sale.
The community sale will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, September 12, according to Cedar Grove's August manager's memo.
The coordinated event gives neighbors an opportunity to sell household goods from their properties while shoppers can travel around town looking for useful finds and unexpected treasures.
Residents 18 and older who want to host a sale must register through the township's Recreation portal, although no permit is required. Signs and advertisements may not be posted around town. The township will release a list of participating homes and a virtual map closer to the event.
Residents should consult the registration page or Recreation Department for updated participation details before sale day.
