CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Cedar Grove residents can wear pink and walk for a good cause this October.
The 12th annual Real Panthers Wear Pink Walk is set for Thursday, Oct. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Panther Park, 118 West Bradford Avenue.
The event benefits Minette's Angels Foundation, with all proceeds going to the foundation. Minette's Angels Foundation is a Verona-based nonprofit focused on breast cancer awareness, patient support, survivor stories, scholarships and education.
Food will be available for walkers, along with a live band, balloon and glitter tattoo artists, giveaways and more.
Cedar Grove Recreation is also seeking sponsors for this year's event, according to a recent department Facebook post.
"We thank you for all your support in helping us raise awareness for such a worthy cause" the township said.
