Better Late Than Never: Brookdale Students Celebrate Halloween

The unexpected and most-unwelcome snowstorm late last month brought down trees, knocked out power and Internet service, and even put the brakes on Halloween. At Brookdale Elementary School in Verona, the Halloween spirit was alive and well last Friday, Nov. 4, which the township set as a snow-date for trick-or-treating to give the young residents a chance to take to the streets on one of the most fun nights of the year. Check out some of the creative costumes worn by students determined to enjoy Halloween, no matter what the calendar says.
