Welcome

This is the first installment of my new blog with the Verona-CedarGrove Patch. I am very happy to add the Patch as a corporate sponsor as well.

Each week I will update this blog with important information about our schools. It is a very exciting time for the Verona School District as we are in the process of some big changes.

100 stakeholders from all walks of life are participating in the creation of our new five-year strategic plan which will be presented to the Board of Education at our June 18, 2013 public meeting. 

Please visit our Strategic Plan website. We are currently training our staff on a completely new evaluation system that will go into effect in September 2013. The process is underway to plan some needed facility repairs and improvements including buildings, grounds, technology and security.

One item that is coming out of the new plan is a district-wide climate survey, more to follow...
