Canfield-Morgan Farm History to Be Presented by the Cedar Grove Historical Society

The Canfield-Morgan Farm

Benjamin Canfield built the Canfield/Morgan farmhouse in 1845.  Since that time only two families have occupied the house and run the farm.  Jean Jaeger will present a PowerPoint program entitled The Canfield-Morgan Farm at the next meeting of the Cedar Grove Historical Society.  The program will be presented in the upper room of Morgan's Barn.  Jaeger will discuss the Canfield and  Morgan families and what led Courtenay Morgan, the last occupant of the house, to leave his property to the Township of Cedar Grove.  After the presentation visitors may tour the farmhouse and enjoy some refreshments.
