Cedar Grove Business Almost Burglarized: Police

A Cedar Grove business owner arrived at their Pompton Avenue store to find that someone tried to pry the doors open, police say.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — A Cedar Grove business on Pompton Avenue was almost burglarized last month, police say.

According to the Cedar Grove Police Department, officers on patrol responded to a report of an attempted burglary to a Pompton Avenue business around 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 31.

The business owner told officers that they arrived to open the store and found that someone tried to pry both doors open.
