Cedar Grove Business Burglaries: Scissor Lift, Equipment Stolen
A pair of Cedar Grove businesses were burglarized. One lost a $5,800 scissor lift, police said.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — A pair of Cedar Grove businesses recently reported burglaries, authorities said.
According to the Cedar Grove Police Department, the following incidents were reported in the township over the past few weeks. Keep updated with local public safety alerts at the Patch Verona-Cedar Grove Facebook page.
November 29 – A Cedar Grove officer took a report of a theft of a commercial scissor lift from a Sand Park Road business. The equipment, valued at $5,800, was taken from the parking lot. The detective bureau is reviewing surveillance video from the area, police said.

December 7- At 6 a.m., patrol officers and detectives responded to the Delta Gas Station at 600 Pompton Avenue for a report of a theft. Unknown suspects burglarized numerous landscape trailers parked at that location. It was determined that the suspects removed numerous pieces of equipment from the trailers and loaded it onto two trailers that were also stolen from the lot. The detective bureau is reviewing surveillance video of the area, police said.
