CEDAR GROVE, NJ — A pair of suspects stole a car from a Westview Court home last month after the owner left the keys in the car, Cedar Grove police say.
According to the Cedar Grove Police Department, officers responded to the home on Oct. 28 after receiving a report about a motor vehicle theft. The owner provided officers with home surveillance video of two suspects entering the vehicle in his driveway around 7 a.m.
The owner told officers that he left the keys in the car, allowing the thieves to start the vehicle and drive away, police said.
