Cedar Grove Committee Wants To Improve Downtown Area
Cedar Grove's Downtown Advisory Committee wants to help attract new businesses, improve pedestrian areas and host community events.
CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Cedar Grove Township’s newly formed Downtown Advisory Committee (DAC) will host a public Town Hall Meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14 at Cedar Grove Park's Robert J. O'Toole Community Center on Fairview Avenue and Smith Drive in Cedar Grove.
According to a news release from the DAC, its mission is to explore and advise the township on ways its members can develop Cedar Grove’s downtown area by “attracting new businesses, improving the walkable areas and hosting community events.”

At the Town Hall, organizers plan to speak more about the committee's role, share preliminary ideas and discuss volunteer opportunities. Jef Buehler, a dedicated downtown revitalization specialist from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, will share his knowledge with attendees during the event. Light refreshments will be served.
