Cedar Grove Cops Reunite Missing Newark Man With Family

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Cedar Grove police officers managed to reunite a missing Newark man with his family earlier this month, authorities say.

According to the Cedar Grove Police Department, a 58-year-old Newark man’s family reported him missing on May 2. A Cedar Gove officer found the missing man walking in the traffic lane along Pompton Avenue around 3:35 a.m.

Police took the man into protective custody and reunited him with his family, authorities said.
