Cedar Grove Daisy Troop 20897 helps local animal rescue group

Cedar Grove Daisy Troop 20897 used a portion of money they raised selling Girl Scout cookies to purchase items for gift baskets that they assembled for a local animal rescue group, Rosemarie’s Rescue Ranch, located in West Caldwell. The gift baskets contained items such as food, blankets, leashes and collars, litter box bags and much more. The girls were excited to present these baskets to Rosemarie and her team as well as meet a rescue dog, Flower. Susan Paige, a volunteer from the rescue group said “The children asked great questions and demonstrated kind compassionate hearts for the rescue dog, Flower, we brought to meet them. We were presented with 6 beautiful baskets of donations for the animals that the children packed up themselves. This is why we volunteer. We all want to change the world one act of kindness at a time”.
