More than 90 special guests and 47 parents and staff from homes attended the annual event, spearheaded by the Cedar Grove Elks.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — The Cedar Grove Elks #2237 held its annual Special Children’s Committee Christmas party on Dec. 8.

According to a news release from the Elks, more than 90 special guests and 47 parents and staff from homes attended the event. Each guest received a gift from Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as dining and dancing to the tunes of the Bob Gizzi band, who have volunteered their time at the event for more than two decades.

“The committee would like to thank all those in the community who donated and/or volunteered their time,” Elks members said in a news release. “Additionally, a thank you goes to St. Catherine of Siena who donated the hall once again to hold this annual event. For some guests, this is the only celebration they have for the holiday season.”
