Cedar Grove Elks Use ‘Gratitude Grant’ For Student DNA Kits

There's gratitude in Cedar Grove… and it's courtesy of the local Elks lodge.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — There’s gratitude in Cedar Grove… and it’s courtesy of the local Elks lodge.

According to a news release, the Cedar Grove Elks Lodge #2237 applied for and received funds from the Elks National Foundation's “Gratitude Grant.”

The lodge utilized the funds by purchasing DNA and Fingerprinting Kits for all of the 1st grade students of Cedar Grove. The remainder of the funds were donated to the Cedar Grove Police Department and the Cedar Grove Fire Department. Extra DNA and fingerprinting kits were given to the members for their children and/or grandchildren.
