Cedar Grove Event: St. Catherine Carnival Returns For 2018

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Rides and boardwalk-style games... a food court and ale house... a kids world and dessert café… take a flying leap into summer at the St. Catherine of Siena Parish of Cedar Grove’s annual carnival.

For 2018, the carnival will take place on the following dates and times:

• Thursday, May 31 through Sunday, June 3 (Thursday, Friday and Saturday hours are 6 to 10 p.m.; Sunday hours are 4 to 8 p.m.)

According to a church news release, the event will include:

• Rides and boardwalk-style games with prizes on the lower campus
• A food court and Siena Ale House outdoors on the upper campus
• Katie’s Café with desserts and coffee indoors
• A “Kids World” with games for younger children in air-conditioned Siena Hall

For 2018, “Wristband Thursday and Sunday” will return. Participants can pay one price - $30 – and ride all night (up to four hours).

Ride and food tickets will be available at the gate. Advance ride/food tickets and wristbands will be sold in St. Catherine’s Lower Church on the following dates:

• Tuesday, May 29: 9 am - noon and 3-6 pm
• Wednesday, May 30: 9 am - noon and 3-6 pm
• Thursday, May 31: 9 am - noon
