Cedar Grove Home Burglaries Reported On Crestmont, Westview Ct.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Cedar Grove residents reported two home burglaries last week, authorities said.

According to the Cedar Grove Police Department, the following two incidents were reported in the township:

• “On March 8, at 11:43 p.m., officers responded to a Crestmont Road address to investigate a burglary. The homeowner returned home and heard someone exit the residence through the back door. It was determined that an unknown actor had burglarized the residence and fled upon the arrival of the homeowner. The incident remains under investigation.”
• “On March 10, at 11:35 a.m., officers responded to a Westview Court address to investigate a burglary. The resident returned home and discovered that someone had broken the glass out the sliding glass door in the rear of the residence. Numerous items were taken from the residence. This incident remains under investigation.”
