Cedar Grove Home Hit By Lightning, Gets Minor Damage
A Cedar Grove home on Sweetwood Drive was struck by lightning and took minor damage, authorities said.
CEDAR GROVE, NJ — A Cedar Grove home was struck by lightning last week and took minor damage, authorities said.
According to the Cedar Grove Police Department, police and fire personnel responded to a Sweetwood Drive home on July 27 around 2:27 p.m. after receiving a report about smoke in the home. Authorities later determined that the home was struck by lightning.
The home sustained minor damage in the incident but was deemed safe by the fire department, authorities said.
