Cedar Grove Park Mischief Incidents Cost Almost $3K: Police
Someone slashed padding in Community Park and burned a small area of the artificial turf at Panther Park, Cedar Grove police say.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Cedar Grove police say that a series of criminal mischief incidents at two local parks will cost almost $3,000 to repair.
According to the Cedar Grove Police Department, officers discovered damage at Community Park and Panther Park on Oct. 11.
The damage at Community Park included “slashed” padding that was covering a light post, police said.

At Panther Park, someone burned four, small areas of artificial turf, and damaged and stole parts from a soccer goal net, police said.
Cedar Grove police estimated the cost of the damage at both locations around $2,885. Police are investigating the incidents; anyone with information can contact authorities.
