“On Tuesday, August 1, the Cedar Grove Police Department and Municipal Alliance hosted the 2017 National Night Out Event in Community Park. The event could not have been the success it was without the help and support of the many different groups and individuals that participated.
“We would like to thank the following: The Cedar Grove Township Manager, the Township Council, the Recreation Department, the Department of Public Works, our fine Rescue Squad and Fire Department, the Cedar Grove Chamber of Commerce, West Caldwell Fire Department, the Verona Police Department, FBI Newark Division, the Drug Enforcement Agency, Essex County Sheriff Dept., Newark Police Mounted Division, the Mountainside Hospital-Atlantic Paramedics and the Atlantic Corporation, the Cedar Grove Elks, Knights of Columbus Little Falls and of Verona & Cedar Grove, Cedar Grove Garden Center, Coca-Cola Products, Nicholas Markets Foodtown, Kings of Verona, Arctic Falls, David’s Cookies, CG Rotary, Florham Park AAA, Rainbow Catering, Holsman Physical Therapy, Alaris Health, Alpine Entertainment, Horizon Entertainment, Mountainside Stables, The Mad Hatters, Rare Steak House, P.F.G. An event such as National Night Out demonstrates what a dedicated group of men and women we have serving the residents of Cedar Grove 365 days a year.”
