Cedar Grove Police: Winds Cause South End Power Outage, Traffic Lights Out
Verona police say Mt. Prospect Avenue southbound from Bloomfield Avenue was closed Thursday.
CEDAR GROVE, NJ - The Cedar Grove Police Department issued the following alert at 8:27 a.m. on Thursday.
"Power outage in the South End caused by high winds. Use caution, wires are down, and traffic lights are out along Ridge Rd. Public Service is working to restore power. No time frame for the return of power has been provided. Please call PSE&G for return of power time frame updates."
The Verona Police Department issued the following alert at 8:10 a.m.
"Mt. Prospect Avenue southbound from Bloomfield Avenue [in] Verona to Woodland Avenue [in] West Orange is closed. Plan an alternate route. Expect delays."
