Cedar Grove Runner Places 1st At Organ Donation Awareness 5K
A Cedar Grove athlete was the first runner to cross the finish line during the NJ Sharing Network's Annual 5K Celebration of Life event.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — A Cedar Grove athlete was the first runner to cross the finish line during the recent NJ Sharing Network’s Annual 5K Celebration of Life in Long Branch, helping to raise awareness and recognition for organ donation in the Garden State.
Kristen Zosche of Cedar Grove was among thousands of walkers, runners and volunteers recently came together to honor those who gave the gift of organ or tissue, pay tribute to those who have a received a transplant, offer hope to those waiting for a transplant and remember those who passed away while waiting for the gift of life.
According to the NJ Sharing Network, Zosche was the first place overall female finisher in the USATF-certified race, which was held on May 20.
