Cedar Grove Swim A Thon 2017

Cedar Grove Swim A Thon to be held on Friday, July 21st 8-10pm

CEDAR GROVE SWIM A THON 2017

The Cedar Grove Swim Team will be holding its annual Swim-A-Thon on Friday, July 21ST from 8-10pm. This year the team will be swimming for The Jorn Family and The Crowell Family. Participation in the Swim-A-Thon is for members of the Cedar Grove Panthers swim team only and will be held when the pool is closed to the public. Only the meet lanes will be open. There will be lifeguards on duty and coaches will be supervising. Swim Parents are welcome to stay, and swimmers will be given refreshments free of charge.

Michael Jorn is a long time resident of Cedar Grove, head of the Water Department, on the volunteer fire dept., a Marine veteran and contractor. Stan Crowell “The Electric Man” is also a long time resident of Cedar Grove. He is also the former Fire Chief of the Cedar Grove Fire Department, currently a volunteer on the Fire Dept. All of his children are former swimmers on the Cedar Grove Swim Team. He is the father of three and grandfather of two.
