Cedar Grove To Resurface Roads

Several Cedar Grove roads will be getting a much needed resurfacing, the township council announced during its May 6 meeting.

The town plans to resurface Daniel Drive, Jefferson Road, Mountainview Drive, Highview Terrace, Hillsdale Road, Cecil Court and Tower Drive.

The project is estimated to cost approximately $243,000 and take around 30 to 45 days to complete.

The completion of the project is subject to the availability of the contractor since spring is paving season, said Township Manager Thomas Tucci.

“These streets are not randomly selected,” said Tucci. “They are taken from the roadway survey document. All the roads are graded and they go in direct order and the worst ones are done off the top.”
