Deadline is Wednesday for Verona Instant College Decision Day

Verona High School Seniors will have the unique opportunity to interview for college and be able to get an answer right on the spot, but only if they make the Wednesday deadline.

Students must visit Guidance Counselor Colleen Green by Wednesday, March 20 to express interest in the program, said Verona High School Principal Glenn Cesa.

“Mrs. Green will help the students review the requirements, help them prepare and make an application for Instant College Decision Day,” said Cesa.

Instant College Decision Day will be held on Wednesday April 3 and will be attended by representatives from Bergen Community College, Essex County College and the County College of Morris.

“Usually student are accepted because the colleges give requirements ahead of time,” said Cesa. “Some positive things are that it's a decision on the spot with no waiting and it provides an opportunity to prepare and interview for college.”
