Dog Bites Postal Carrier In Verona: Police
A dog bit a U.S. Postal Service carrier while he was delivering mail on Oakridge Road, Verona police say.

VERONA, NJ — A dog bit a U.S. Postal Service carrier while he was delivering mail on Oakridge Road last month, Verona police say.
According to the Verona Police Department, the carrier told an officer that he was delivering mail in the area around 4:28 p.m. on Sept. 13 when a dog bit him on the forearm. Police contacted the dog’s owner, who was made aware of the situation.
Officers notified the Verona Health Department about the incident, authorities stated.
