Dog Spotted On Roof Of Verona Home, Returns Inside Safely: FD
Verona Fire Department: Dog gets stuck on roof. Firefighters arrive. Dog returns through open window. All is well.

VERONA, NJ — It was an “unusual incident” for Verona firefighters on Tuesday. Luckily, it turned out that they weren’t needed.
Earlier this week, Verona firefighters responded to a local home after getting a call that there was a dog stuck on a roof. The situation played out with a happy ending, as the dog safely returned into the home through an open window, authorities said.

"On Tuesday August 28, the Verona Volunteer Fire Department was requested to a residence to assist in getting a dog that was stuck on the roof of the house back into the home. The VFD responded and was ultimately not needed as the dog safely returned back inside through an open window. VFD units remained on scene until the homeowner was able to respond home to secure the window.”
