A vehicle crash in Verona temporarily shut down Bloomfield Avenue in both directions, authorities said.

VERONA, NJ — A vehicle crash in Verona temporarily shut down Bloomfield Avenue in both directions on Friday morning, authorities said.

According to the Verona Police Department, the accident took place near Mt. Prospect and Pompton avenues and resulted in downed utility wires.

Verona police issued an advisory at 8:56 a.m. that Bloomfield Avenue was reopen in both directions. No additional information was immediately available.
