Emergency Gas Line Repairs Near Verona Park Affect Traffic: PD

VERONA, NJ — Emergency gas line repairs are expected to affect traffic near Verona Park, authorities reported Wednesday morning.

According to the Verona Police Department, the repairs took place on Bloomfield Avenue near Verona Park.

“Traffic may be affected in both directions,” Verona police stated at 7:42 a.m. “Avoid the area if possible.”

Verona police issued the following update at noon: "AVOID Lakeside Ave. and Bloomfield Ave until 11 p.m. this evening due to road construction/gas line repair. HEAVY CONGESTION."
