UPDATE: Missing Essex County Man Found Safe, Police Say
Police said that Essex County resident Richard Shepard, 68, was last seen Wednesday morning.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing Nutley resident, township officials announced Thursday evening.
Nutley police said that Richard Shepard, 68, was last seen Wednesday, March 29 at 10 a.m. He was driving a red 2006 GMC Envoy with New Jersey registration “2811BB.”

Authorities described Shepard as a white male about 5 feet 11 inches and 160 pounds with grey hair. [See below photo]
