Essex County Store Sells $50K Powerball Lottery Ticket

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — An Essex County store sold a $50,000 winning Powerball lottery ticket for the Wednesday, Jan. 11 drawing, officials stated.

According to New Jersey Lottery officials, three tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Wednesday, Jan. 11 drawing, winning the $50,000 third-tier prize.

The winning tickets from Wednesday night’s drawing were sold at the following locations:

  • Essex County: Heller & Heller, 200 Franklin Ave., Nutley
  • Burlington County: Wawa #919, 1076 Route 206, Bordentown
  • Ocean County: 7-Eleven #36783, 3101 Route 37, Toms River

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Jan. 11 drawing were: 01, 03, 13, 16 and 43. The Red Power Ball number was 24. The Multiplier number was 02.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $121 million for the next drawing to be held Saturday, Jan. 14 at 10:59 p.m., lottery officials said.
