Essex County Store Sells $50K Winning Powerball Lottery Ticket

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — An Essex County store sold a winning, $50,000 ticket for the Wednesday, May 17 Powerball drawing, lottery officials announced Thursday.
According to NJ Lottery officials, the winning ticket from Wednesday night’s drawing was sold at 7-Eleven #21390 at 38 Passaic Avenue in Nutley.
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, May 17 drawing were: 04, 11, 39, 45 and 48. The Red Power Ball number was 09. The Multiplier number was 03.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $228 million for the next drawing to be held Saturday, May 20 at 10:59 p.m., officials stated.
