Eutopia Beauty Studio Cuts Hair for Cancer Charity
Verona salon held charity Cut-A-Thon to raise money for Look Good...Feel Better, a cancer charity.
Eutopia Beauty Studio in Verona held a charity Cut-A-Thon, Wednesday, with $10 haircuts and pink hair extensions for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The reduced-price haircuts benefited Look Good...Feel Better, a non-profit organization that helps to boost the self esteem of cancer patients undergoing treatment.
“It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month but there's more to it than just that,” said salon owner Ieva Ozolins-Robertella. “We wanted to make sure we help people with any type of cancer.”

“(Look Good...Feel Better) is important to make people feel better about themselves,” she said. “We make them feel good aesthetically, which is a big part of recovery.”
Eutopia will also be selling $10 hair extensions for the month of October, with $8 of every purchase going directly to the non-profit.

“It's a very important cause,” said customer Cindy Smith of Cedar Grove, who came to get her hair cut for the charity. “I think women losing their hair can be very traumatic for them.”
“It's important to help them look better so they can feel better,” she said.
