The Opening Day Parade will take place on Saturday April 9th. The parade will commence at 10:00 AM. All players are to be at the entrance of Verona Park by 9:30 to line up with their teams. The parade will proceed up Bloomfield Avenue to Everett Field for a brief ceremony.
If the parade is cancelled due to inclement weather there will not be a makeup date. You can check our web site at www.veronabaseballsoftball.com for up-to-date information on the status of the parade if the weather is questionable.
The VBSL will be selling apparel the day of the parade. There will be a table at Everett Field on the day of the parade for anyone wishing to buy VBSL apparel. Also, we will be raffling off New York Yankees tickets.
