Former Cedar Grove resident, Ray Williams, will share his knowledge of Early American paper money at the Cedar Grove Public Library at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23.
Williams will display his collection of 1700's paper money from the 13 colonies, with special emphasis on New Jersey, and talk about the economic climate that made the production of paper money necessary in a culture that really wanted silver and gold coins. The program is sponsored by the Cedar Grove Historical Society and is free of charge to all. Light refreshments will be served.
