“Jewish Humor: What the Best Jewish Jokes Say about the Jews.” 

Acclaimed orator and spiritual leader Rabbi Joseph Telushkin will be speaking on Jewish humor and signing his books on Sunday, October 16 at 2pm at Temple Sholom of West Essex, 760 Pompton Avenue in Cedar Grove.

Rabbi Telushkin, named one of the best 50 speakers in the United States, will be speaking about “Jewish Humor: What the Best Jewish Jokes Say about the Jews.”  The Rabbi, who is also the author of A Code of Jewish Ethics: You Shall be Holy, considered his magnum opus, was ordained at Yeshiva University in New York, and pursued graduate studies in Jewish history at Columbia University. Rabbi Telushkin lectures throughout the United States, serves as a spiritual leader of the Synagogue for the Performing Arts in Los Angeles and is on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Book Council.

Several of Rabbi Telushkin’s books will be for sale at the event and the Rabbi will be signing them. This event is open to the community and refreshments will be served.
