Mark Caplan & Tony Cucchiara

After studying piano and clarinet as a child, Mark Caplan turned his focus towards singing and acoustic guitar. Over the years Mark began to concentrate on songwriting as an expression of his faith. His songs have touched hundreds of people in the tri-state area, delivering a soothing dose of inspiration through music and lyrics that strengthen, heal and comfort. For many years Mark has served as a leader of worship music at several New Jersey churches. He has completed two CD projects comprised entirely of his original works, Song in the Night (2002) and More Than A Tale (2006). These CD’s are full of uplifting songs of faith and encouragement, for every heart that yearns for a touch from God.
Performing with Mark will be Tony Cucchiara. Cucch brings a unique, expressive and passionate sound to the bass guitar, adding an inventive richness of character to each song. Tony has played extensively throughout the region in concerts, coffee houses and churches. He has also travelled to the Middle East to play for the Israeli armed forces at various military bases throughout the country.
