NJ AUDUBON ESSEX COUNTY BIRDING FIELD TRIP

Led by Dave Hall, Associate Naturalist at  ESSEX COUNTY WEEQUAHIC PARK

Visit an Essex County oasis while searching for wintering ducks, gulls and passerine birds. All can be viewed along an easy trail around the lake. Meet at the east end of the lake in this Essex County park in Newark. Go to http://essex.njaudubon.org for a map and directions. FREE

At this time of year, we will be looking for resident and over-wintering birds as well as scenic vistas.  Dave will set an easy pace, and most of the trails are level and wide. Hikes take place unless trails are impassable due to snow or ice; heavy rain or snow cancels. Registrants will receive a confirmation call/email. Please call 973.226.6082 or email kelly.wenzel@njaudubon.org to register.
