Please join us for a reception to introduce the work of photographer Kim Pollard, which will be on display during April and into May at the library. Kim Pollard lives in Blairstown, NJ with her husband and two children. She feels very lucky to live in such a beautiful area where the change of seasons provides unlimited opportunities for a photographer. She hopes to share some of this natural beauty through her work which can be viewed on Facebook.com/Kimpollardphotography.
Presents From the Past is a photo exhibit featuring the wreckage left by the Tocks Island Dam project. Abandoned homes and farms were photographed during the summer of 2011 and provide a haunting and nostalgic look at important pieces of history slowly decaying and crumbling. The exhibit is part of a feature in the current issue of NJ Skylands Visitor's Guide and more information about the exhibit and the history behind it can be viewed at http://njskylands.com/cl_pollard_121.htm
