Summer Reading Kickoff and Visit by Magician Bob Conrad

Registration begins Saturday, June 18 with a special presentation by magician Bob Conrad, 10:30 AM.

“One World, Many Stories” is the theme of this summer’s reading program, and it will be reflected in many of the entertaining programs that will be featured every Wednesday morning at 10:30 AM (July 6 through August 24). Professional musicians, magicians, a puppet show and much more will be offered on our special Wednesday mornings and all ages are invited to attend. We do limit attendance to Verona residents, however.

Children may register for the summer reading club at the conclusion of Magician Bob Conrad’s performance on Saturday, June 18th at 10:30 AM. They will receive a reading log for recording books read. After finishing 8-10 titles, the log is returned to the Library and a prize is awarded (6 prizes total.)
All participants will be entered in a drawing for several Grand Prizes, which will be held on the grand finale program on Wednesday, August 24th at 10:30 AM.
