This group supports men with prostate cancer, along with family and friends. It includes guest speakers, phone help, educational series and literature. Topics include dealing with the trauma of diagnosis, coping with chemo and radiation therapies, diet and exercise while undergoing treatment, self care, sexuality and changing self image, resources available for patients and their families, helping children and families cope, and complementary therapies, as well as opportunities for volunteering and advocacy. The group meets the fourth Wednesday of the month from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
