Stacy Kilkenny, who lives on High Point in Cedar Grove is among the four candidates running for three seats on the Cedar Grove Township Council.

Stacy Kilkenny has lived in Cedar Grove for the past eight years and has been contempleting running for council for several months.
Kilkenny will challenger incumbents John Zunic, Joseph Chiusolo and E. Romeo Longo for a seat on the Cedar Grove Township Council.
What issues are important to you as a resident?
"It is important to me to have a council that represents the town demographically. I think that the current Cedar Grove Town Council and township manager have achieved excellence in keeping municipal taxes low. Low taxes are very important to me as a resident."

Why do you want to be on the council?
"I think it’s important to have diversity on the Cedar Grove Town Council, and consideration for all perspectives before decisions are made."
What will you do for the township if elected?
"I am committed to protecting Cedar Grove’s quality of life, natural resources, and our low tax rate."

What makes you qualified for this position?
"I am an Institutional Diabetes Care Specialist and I have been collaborating successfully for improved outcomes for 17 years within my industry. I’m confident that skill set will serve me well on the Cedar Grove Town Council."
What changes do you plan to make if elected?
"I will work to ensure that all circumstances are considered and represented, especially issues specific to women."
