From the Editor: Patch Hosting Board of Education Candidate's Forum This Thursday

Send your questions to chris.nesi@patch.com.

I am very excited and honored to be hosting a Cedar Grove Board of Education Candidate's Forum on Thursday, April 14, and would like to invite the entire school community to participate.

Starting at 7 p.m. in the media center of North End Elementary School, 122 Stevens Ave., candidates in attendance will get an opportunity to deliver opening and closing remarks, as well as answer questions sent in by the school community. The forum will be televised on Cedar Grove cable access.

Residents who have questions they would like to ask the candidates should send them directly to me, chris.nesi@patch.com. Some good questions have already rolled in from parents, but more would be very much appreciated.

If there are issues facing the district you'd like to hear the candidates speak more about, or anything else going on in the schools you want their takes on, please submit your questions as soon as possible to ensure they will be considered.

Don't forget to check back later this week for profiles on both candidates: incumbent trustee Michael Grabas, and challenger Christine Dye, and stay tuned for complete school board election coverage right up until election day on April 27.
