Gas Line Ruptured At Cedar Grove VFW Building
The natural gas line was ruptured during demolition, Cedar Grove police say.

A gas leak at the VFW building on Pompton Avenue temporarily shut down demolition and closed the busy road to traffic on Saturday.
According to the Cedar Grove Police Department, the natural gas line was ruptured during building demolition around 2:30 p.m.
When police and fire responders arrived on the scene, they determined the broken line was “emitting a large amount of natural gas.”
