A rainy evening was not enough to dampen the holiday spirits of the Verona High School Music Department this week, who performed their annual holiday concert on Wednesday, Dec. 22.
The night was full of a variety of performers, including the VHS Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Jazz Band, Jazz Vocal Ensemble and the Concert Choir, who performed to a packed house at the Verona High School Auditorium.
The concert gave evidence once again that Verona has one of the most amazing music programs in the State. Between the very talented Choirs and the instrumental groups there were 150 students of the 500 student body performing.
