Internship of a Lifetime

The story of how excited I am to be an Intern at College Works Painting

My name is Stefania Camacho J, I am an undergraduate student at William Paterson University. I am Currently studying Business Management & Economics. I am part of the Student Government Association at my school and I have the position of Senator of Allocations. My ultimate goal is to own my own business one day. When I found out about the amazing opportunity that College Works Painting was offering I jumped right into it. I was struggling a lot when trying to find an internship that fit my major perfectly but I kept finding ones that just required me to sit at a desk, and I did not want that. I love being hands on and interactive, I learn better that way. That was what I was looking for in an internship, When CWP gave me a call one, it caught me by surprise I had not heard of the program before and I could have not been more excited to hear about something that will require me to be so hands on as this program. This program will teach me every aspect of running a business through marketing, sales, management, and profit analysis. As soon as I heard that I just wanted to get started! But of course I had to first go through the interview process. After several days of interviews and research I was one of the lucky ones to get picked out of many students who applied to be part of this internship. Finally all my hard work and dedication was paying off.

My parents could not be more proud, being that I came to the US from Colombia when I was about 7, I struggled a lot in school and had a hard time adjusting to the new language, but with the amazing support and love from my parents I’ve grown into a very hard working woman with very big goals that I hope that with the knowledge and experience I receive with this internship will help to make that dream a reality. So be aware, I might be next big thing that all of you will be talking about.

“SUCCESS IS NO ACCIDENT. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing.” ---Pele
