Mauris Jackson: Former Laning School Custodian Passes Away

Mauris Jackson, 64, of Orange, a former custodian at Laning Avenue Elementary School, passed away on Monday.

The longtime school employee was affectionately remembered on social media, with one mourner stating:

“All that matters in the end is how you have treated people and this is a great example.”

Cotton Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Orange, will host a viewing on Saturday, June 6, with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m.

A funeral service will follow at Cotton.
