Mayors Meet for Annual Breakfast (Photos)

Mayors from Verona, Caldwell, Roseland, Montclair, Maplewood, South Orange and other area municipalities shared concerns, ideas and a meal Saturday morning.

“It's always good to get together with other elected officials like that and residents and have a nice discussion," said Verona Mayor Frank Sapienza, who attended the event for the fourth time. "It's always good to network."

The annual Meet the Mayors Breakfast was hosted by the Millburn-Short Hills, North Essex Regional, Cedar Grove and Livingston Chambers of Commerce and the League of Women Voters of the Montclair Area at Crane's Mill in West Caldwell.

Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo gave the opening remarks.

The free event provides a venue for elected officials, league members and business people to get to know each other and discuss common issues.

During the event, PSE&G President Ralph LaRossa discussed the recent storms and how the company plans to move forward, said Sapienza.
