Memorial Middle School FSA Holding Spring Clothing Drive
Clothes to be sold by the pound to benefit FSA's programs.

The Cedar Grove Memorial Middle School’s (MMS) Spring 2011 Clothing Drive
Benefit will be held May 6-7. The clothing drive is supported by a company which pays the CG MMS FSA organization per pound 13 cents for clothing and 15 cents for shoes. The clothing, shoes and other items are then distributed to needy families in
Poland and other countries.
The FSA's fall, 2010 MMS Clothing Drive was very successful, and the group would like to extend a big thank you to everyone that had donated.
Residents may donate gently used items as follows: men’s, women’s and children’s
clothing, hats, belts, purses, blankets, bed linens, comforters, bedspreads, towels and stuffed animals. Please place these items in sturdy plastic bags. Shoes and sneakers must be bagged separately in order for the FSA to receive 15 cents per pound.
Please drop off all bags at the front of MMS student drop-off area, at the front entrance of the middle school, 500 Ridge Road. Drop-off times are Friday, May 6, between 6-8 p.m. or Saturday, May 7 between 8-10:30 a.m.
For senior citizens or other residents who do not have the physical ability to bring the bags to the school, pick-up service is available. Please call Deborah at 973-239-3577 and leave your return phone number along with a brief message. You will be contacted. All calls must be received no later than Thursday, May 5.
Funds raised will be used to benefit the Family School Associations (FSA) for CG MMS. The FSA sponsors assemblies, speakers, cultural arts programs, and parental workshops; purchase computers/software, multi-media equipment, and other educational materials programs that will enhance the student experience.
