Essex County authorities have labeled a fatal shooting that took place in Mills Reservation as a suicide, a report says.
CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Essex County authorities have labeled a fatal shooting that took place in Mills Reservation Tuesday night as a suicide, a report says.
Emergency responders discovered a victim in the Cedar Grove park around 7 p.m. suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, TAP Into Montclair reported.
The victim was reportedly pronounced dead on the scene.

Mills Reservation is a 157-acre county park located in Cedar Grove and Montclair. The reservation is maintained by the Essex County Park Commission and has several walking/jogging trails, including four major trails and numerous smaller trails.
