New Jersey Store Sells $1M Mega Millions Lottery Ticket

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — An Essex County convenience store sold a $1 million Mega Millions ticket for the Friday, Sept. 15 drawing. The winning ticket was sold at the Fairfield News & Food Store, 376 Hollywood Ave., in Fairfield, officials stated.
The ticket matched all five numbers: 18, 24, 34, 38 and 58. The Mega Ball was 3 and the Megaplier 4X.
Another ticket was sold that matched the four white balls and the Gold Mega Ball each winning the $5,000 third-tier prize. That ticket was purchased at Welsh Farms, 92 Flock Rd., Hamilton in Mercer County.

In addition, 16 tickets sold matched the four white balls winning $500 each.
The next Mega Millions drawing is Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 11 p.m.
